Welcome to Corfu Mylos!

“Corfu Mylos” consists of two independent residences with stunning views of the countryside, surrounded by the characteristic olive groves of the island and the rich plain of the Epirus river. The once abundant waters of the Epirus river used to operate three watermills, which ground not only the grains of the village’s residents but also those of all of southern Corfu. One of them, the “Upper Mill,” is located nearby and was in operation until 1973. Today, the mill has been transformed into a residence. About 300 meters away is the “Mesianos Mill,” which has been converted into a warehouse.

Still, 300 meters towards the bay of Epirus (Petriti), the “Lower Mill” was located, unfortunately, no trace of it is preserved. Across from Corfu Mylos in the plain of the Epirus river, there is the small church of Agia Gourgi that was built before 1568. Within a short distance (1.5km) along a beautiful countryside walk, you’ll find the Notos Beach, a pristine beach with crystal clear waters of the Ionian Sea. It’s a small sandy beach consisting of 3 small coves. It’s an ideal place for those seeking tranquility and relaxation, away from the large and bustling tourist resorts. In the Notos settlement, the grand farmhouse of the Theotoki family, known as “Baronetou Notou,” is preserved.

 The nearest tavernas are in Petriti, an unspoiled fishing port with a wide selection of local restaurants serving fresh fish and seafood that arrives every morning by fishing boats.
